We are so excited to take a few minutes & sit down with our very own Gary Taylor. With almost forty years in the fundraising field, Gary has managed more capital campaigns than anyone else on our team! ---   ![Gary Header](https://static.hsstatic.net/BlogImporterAssetsUI/ex/missing-image.png) --- 1. **What did you do before joining Dickerson, Bakker & Associates? ** *I was in the preaching ministry for 26 years across Tennessee, Georgia & Arkansas.* 2. **Where did you go to college? ** *I attended the University of Memphis (Memphis State University). While there, I was a letterman on the baseball team for 3-years. * 3. **How did you hear about Dickerson, Bakker & Associates? ** *I met Clark while serving in the ministry & before I knew it, I was working with Clark on a regular basis as part of Dickerson & Associates. When Derric & Clark merged to create Dickerson, Bakker & Associates, I was honored that they asked me to stay on board as a consultant. * 4. **What made you decide to come work for Dickerson, Bakker & Associates? ** *When the two companies merged it seemed like a perfect fit for me and where I was at in my career! Having a part in their mission & seeing them expand their ministry is always a blessing.* 6. **What is one goal you hope to achieve with a client when starting a new project? ** *Going into a new project, my main goal is to help them learn more about stewardship & understand Biblical principals. * 7. **What is your favorite part about being a part of Dickerson, Bakker & Associates? ** *I get the most joy out of working with all of the different types of people I meet & seeing them meet their goals is extremely fulfilling. * 8. **What is your favorite part about being a part of Dickerson, Bakker & Associates? ** *People are always shocked to find out I can do a real good Elvis impression.
