Walden brings over four decades of experience in business development, strategic fundraising, and team leadership to her new role. A dynamic professional with a deep passion for service, Walden has built a reputation for driving innovative and sustainable outcomes across both the nonprofit and corporate sectors.
“As Chief Development Officer for the Community Foundation for Northeast Georgia, I helped double the foundation’s assets in just two and a half years by leading all development efforts, including nonprofit training, education, and events,” said Walden.
Walden’s passion for the nonprofit world began early, volunteering at just ten years old as her family modeled a life of servant leadership. Over the years, she has translated key corporate strategies into meaningful, mission-driven impact for the nonprofit marketplace, helping organizations achieve long-term success.

Outside of her professional work, Walden is a respected community leader and mentor to young women in the Atlanta area. A dedicated mother and grandmother, she’s known for creating adventures and memorable conversations with her family, adding to what she lovingly calls “everyone’s memory bank”.
