HMG’S headquarters represent more than just a passionate team, it embodies their mission in action. With warmth, humility, and deep-rooted faith, every member of the HMG team embodies their tagline, “God Listens.” That spirit has been present throughout this campaign journey.

“Campaigns are not easy, but fundraising can be fun when your client takes the counsel you provide with grace and is willing to work alongside you to tackle the challenges that come your way. It’s easy to build trust with people who are willing to be vulnerable and place their trust in God,” says Jason Caniglia, Vice President of Client Services.

As with any major campaign, obstacles arose. Building the right team took time, but once in place, momentum accelerated. Volunteers fostered meaningful relationships, built trust with supporters, and effectively communicated a shared vision for HMG’s future. When engagement with top prospects slowed, it was a newly recruited volunteer who opened the right door, just at the right moment. Another reminder to the whole team that God was listening and leading the way.

This transformational campaign not only enabled the construction of a new Ministry & Media Center—it also expanded HMG’s organizational capacity and broadened its donor base. With DickersonBakker's guidance, HMG was also able to secure a $1.25 million grant, a pivotal achievement that helped propel the campaign forward.

“What’s so exciting is that this campaign added new relationships that HMG will steward well, and it built their capacity as an organization, so they can nor move from one campaign to the next and thrive,” says Caniglia.

DickersonBakker is known for its ability to adapt consulting strategies to personally reflect each client’s mission and culture. For HMG, that meant helping an already mission-driven team mobilize around a compelling project that advances ministry in the Houston area and beyond.
